Mickey Mousse dessert at Disney Springs

There’s an adorable sugary creation at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs called the Mickey Mousse. When you’re doing some souvenir shopping or you’ve just finished a nice meal, head over to Amorette’s for a Mickey Mousse dessert.

What’s in The Mickey Mousse Dessert?

Seriously, could a dessert get any more adorable?

Inside a layer of white chocolate mousse, there’s a chocolate cream center which contains chocolate crisp pearls. These “wet” layers are sitting on top of a thin layer of chocolate chiffon cake.

The red outside is glacage, with a thin black ribbon of modeling chocolate. Glacage Icing is a sweet, sugary glaze used to decorate baked goods like cakes. I’m not sure I recognized tasting the glacage, because everything tasted sweet as it blended together, but the modeling chocolate tasted like a chewable chocolate, similar to the consistency of gum but swallow-able.

The Mickey ears are made of dark chocolate, and during holidays, they are decorated with colorful sprinkles.

Where can you find the Mickey Mousse dessert?

Amorette’s Patisserie is a modern bakeshop featuring French eclairs, miniature cakes, cookies, New York style cheesecake, and macarons.

The bakery is located next door to the World of Disney Store and the Harley Davidson store in Disney Springs.

The entire bakery has a French vibe, from the warm wood tones  and soft lighting to the French inspired music. This is as close to traveling to France as I may get, except for the occasional visit to Epcot. So if this is what being in France feels like, I’m all about it, and think of the money I saved on plane tickets.

You can actually watch the pastry chefs decorate the cakes right in front of you.

The cost of the Mickey Mousee Dessert?

You can purchase a petit mousse cake with tax for about $10, and with our free cup of water, we were in and out for exactly that amount. We shared a Mickey Mousse, which is pretty tiny for a $10 dessert at about 3 inches in diameter, which put our final cost about $5 a person.

This is a dessert experience, not a meal.

Grab a seat if you are lucky enough to snag a table, and stay for a few minutes while you enjoy your dessert and some french inspired music.
