If you ever did your own nails rather than pay for a manicure to save money for a vacation, you are certainly a Cheapskate Princess. Do It Yourself Minnie Mouse Manicure Instructions for a Cheapskate Disney Princess
How many of you have scheduled a spa appointment during your Disney vacation? This is a huge dream of mine (once my kids are grown and out of the house, in those years before grandkids beg “Glam Ma” to take them to the Magic Kingdom) to spend the day at a Disney Spa. Ah, the pampering, the relaxation, the Disney MAGIC of a different type than theme parks and roller coasters. I just don’t see it happening anytime soon, so I am left to do my own Disney nails in my living room.
While all Disney princesses sure love their manicures, it’s the Cheapskate Princess that doesn’t want to spend a fortune getting one. Lucky for us, Senses Spa, now with two locations on the WDW property, created instructions on how to do your own Minnie Mouse manicure right in your own home.
How Can You Look Like a Disney Princess? You’ll Need to Start With Their Make Up!
For those with the ca$h but lacking in the artistic talent department, you could screen shot the final product and have your local manicurist whip this up for you. Your friends will be red and white polka dots envious!
Of course what better place to have a Disney manicure than at Disney World.

Amanda Major is the creator of cheapskateprincess.com. She remembers her first visit to Magic Kingdom like it was yesterday, because she had a ham sandwich tucked in her shorts pocket. The whole family snuck in their lunch; you can’t make that kinda stuff up. 40 years worth of trips to Orlando later, she is still trying to save money on vacations.
Amanda is a Disney Vacation Club Member and Annual Pass holder. Her amazing husband, band director Carl Major, plus three teen children and two dogs keep her busy. Amanda teaches Leadership to high school seniors in the almost-coastal town of Foley, Alabama. Read about her cheapskating local vacations with this link. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, walking somewhere, or paddling a kayak. Life is indeed a blast.
