Shipping Groceries to Disney World Resorts is much easier than you might expect. Food will be one of your largest expenses on a Disney World vacation. While there are delivery options available, a cheapskate option to dining out all the time can be to have groceries mailed to your resort before your arrival.
How exactly does this work?
Shipping Groceries to Disney World Resorts
What can you mail?
You can ship non-perishable items you box up yourself at your house or order from stores like Wal-mart and Amazon that do the shipping for you.
What’s the cost?
You’ll pay any fees incurred with shipping your packages, and Disney will charge you a $5 per box fee. Let’s say you ship four boxes. Paying $20 in shipping fees may be worth the time you save in shopping for the same items.
When should you ship items?
Order your items about a week before you resort arrival, the goal being to ship and deliver the goods to your resort several days before you get there. This way, hopefully your boxes will arrive before you need them.
Who could this benefit?
If you eat specialty food items that may not be found in local Orlando grocery stores, even the ones that will deliver to resorts, then this could alleviate a lot of shopping stress.
If you are flying in, using Magical Express and then resort transportation, this cuts out a cab or Uber ride to a grocery store. Your other option would be to have groceries delivered to your resort using a delivery service.

Food is expensive at Disney World. Shipping food to your resort may be one way to take a little sting out of your food bill or help you save enough money to treat yourself to a character meal.
Remember that shipping anything anywhere can sometimes go wrong, so it’s good to have a plan B ready if you arrive at your resort before your packages do.
