Disney World scrapbook ideas

Updated for 2018!

If you’ve never seen the Google maps version of Walt Disney World, you are in for an unusual visual treat! They make the Disney resort property look like a magical cartoon land. This can be especially useful if you haven’t been on vacation to Orlando in a while and perhaps your memory is rusty.

The best part of the Google maps, other than the coolness factor, is the fact that they are 100% completely free to use.

Scrapbooking is a big thing, especially if you just returned from a vacation. Looking for something new to do with your scrapbooks? Use Google Maps to get these super cool images of your favorite Disney locations.

Remember that day you spent at the pool at Wilderness Lodge?

While you can only see one side of the resort, you can see view details of the resorts like rock formations and windows. The only thing missing is the moss hanging from the pine trees and the fun sounds of splashing water coming from the pool area.

What about that day the kids spent by the pool at Caribbean Beach Resort? Or renting a boat to speed around the lake?

Have you been saving up forever to splurge on accommodations at the Beach Club Resort so you can enjoy the exclusive sandy-bottom Stormalong Bay pool? Even if you haven’t started the scrapbook yet, these Google map views are a great way to get the kids excited about the upcoming trip.

Another beautiful resort that costs a pretty penny is the Polynesian. Even in drawn-map form, the pool looks incredible, and the details include the board decking by the boat rentals and straw roofs on the huts. I think I can actually hear one of those pool lounge chairs calling my name right now!

Coronado Springs Resort not only has a beautiful pool with a slide, but they also have one of the best playgrounds of any of the other resorts.

So where do you find these cool maps?

Use this link to the Disney World site, which will take you right to the Magic Kingdom.

If you use a Mac like I do, simply screen shot what you need and then print. That is so easy, and best of all, it’s totally free, minus your cost of paper and ink.

There are not many places you can find nearly free scrapbooking materials these days, especially free images as cool as this. And let me tell you from experience, this is a great way to teach kids their way around the different parks without wearing your feet out in the process.
