So Pandora’s Disney inspired jewelry is a little out of your price range? With Disney Pandora charms retailing from $35 to $95, it’s easy to see why. Does your daughter want a charm bracelet, but you aren’t ready to sink a lot of money into her collection? Well, what you need is some charm from the parks!

Doing Disney for Cheap: New $8.95 Hand Sanitizers

Disney silver and pastic charms

Disney World has been selling inexpensive charms, bracelets and necklaces for at least the last 10-15 years by my recollection. While the bracelets and necklaces sometimes showed signs of tarnishing and wear, many of the charms generally held up really well through the years. These items are not sterling silver Pandora, but they are definitely more affordable.

These charms sat on tables in gift shops; you just picked out what you wanted and started collecting. Many gift shops still have the charms organized in bins.

Planning a Disney Vacation? Why You Need a Disney Change Jar!

Recently many of these charms have been placed on cardboard backing, prominently displayed in gift shops at Disney Springs and some resorts. The prices have not really changed much, still making them great for a beginner and an old collector like me.

Charmed in the Parks charms are a Theme Park Exclusive item, and right now they are not even for sale at DisneyStore.com. You can find them on eBay and Amazon.com, although it may be more fun to buy charms while on your vacation.

How NOT to Lose Your Kids at Walt Disney World and Disneyland

And the prices? Remember Disney prices can change without notice. Trust me in that costs will not be dropping on these items,  but these are prices as of July 2015.

If your child, or you!, can keep from losing the jewelry, a Charmed in the Parks purchase will certainly not break the bank. Because of the much lower pricing, they are definitely an option for a starter charm bracelet/necklace without the huge sticker shock of Disney Pandora. With bright colors and sparkly crystals, both kids and adults will love them.
