FREE Drink Refills at Disney World Theme Parks: A Cheapskate Princess Guide

Where to find free refills at Disney World theme park restaurants

Updated for 2018!

Vacations to Disney World sure are pricey, and many families struggle to keep their costs down once they arrive in Orlando. Travel costs, tickets, accommodations, souvenirs, and buying theme park food will cost you more than one pretty penny.  How can you keep counter service drink costs down, especially when the weather is hot and your family is extra thirsty? You simply have to locate the Disney Parks “Free Drink” refill stations.

At certain locations in the Disney parks, there are a few stations to refill your drinks during meals. Don’t get too excited, as there are not very many, but here are the few places where you can find them.

Epcot:

Sunshine Seasons

Electric Umbrella

Hollywood Studios:

Backlot Express

Animal Kingdom:

Restaurantosaurus

Disney Springs:

Earl of Sandwich

Cookies of Dublin

Wolfgang Puck Express

Magic Kingdom:

Be Our Guest Restaurant (breakfast & lunch only)

Buying a drink at restaurants like Cosmic Rays or Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn will get you one drink and no refills. Those drink costs can really add up fast, especially if you are traveling with a large group.

Do you have any empty bottles with you in your backpack? Fill them up before you leave and enjoy your drinks later on.

What if you have your favorite restaurants, and you just simply have to eat somewhere without the free drink refill option? A Cheapskate Princess would order that drink without ice, as you will get a little more cola for your money.

Staying on property at a Disney resort? Buy the souvenir mug for $17.99 (2017), and your refills are free for your length of stay. While the cost of buying the mug may sting a bit at first, it’s worth the money over the length of your vacation. With the money you save, maybe it’s time to buy a t-shirt? If you ever served a meal at home using your resort mugs as drinking glasses, you just might be a Cheapskate Princess.
