How to Get a Pineapple Dole Whip Without Any Disney Theme Park Tickets

Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom serves the famous  and ultra popular Dole Whip, a soft-serve frozen treat blended in pineapple, vanilla or swirled flavors. Disney started their long-running relationship with Dole Foods as corporate sponsors of the Enchanted Tiki Room. Even though a Dole Whip has the taste and consistency of soft-serve ice cream, this dessert actually gets its texture from ordinary food thickeners. Starting back in 2013, the original pineapple and orange Dole Whip flavors became completely dairy-free.

You can purchase the sweet treat at several other places, including Disneyland, Dole’s processing plant in Hawaii and online using this link.

Did you know you can also pick one up in Orlando without any park tickets? You’ll need to go here…

Maybe it’s time to do some resort hopping and grab a Pineapple Dole Whip at the Polynesian Village Resort, which is absolutely beautiful to walk around using walkways winding through the resort sections.

It’s just as beautiful inside.

Just outside the main lobby area, the Pineapple Lanai offers an assortment of drinks and soft-serve ice cream combinations.

There are lots of seats at the Pineapple Lanai, although you may have more seating opportunities in the summer when it’s hot outside. Sitting outside in the Orlando summer, unless you are dressed in a wet bathing suit, is just plain nuts, and not the kind you sprinkle on ice cream.

I would suggest an early morning or late night summer visit if you want the outdoor seating. There are nice chairs in the air-conditioned lobby I would highly suggest; bring some napkins with you as this has the potential to be a drippy snack.

Prices are not crazy expensive, and the treats are cool and frosty. You don’t have to purchase a souvenir cup, unless you just really want one, which means you could buy two ice cream treats for the cost of one in the souvenir cup.
