It’s Time to Disney Yourself, all for FREE!

It’s hard to find anything truly free these days, I mean, there always seems to be a catch. You didn’t know it, but you really need to “Disney Yourself,” and unlike a vacation, it’s 100% free. It’s catch free as well!

Disney has a page on their website where you can create a character that looks just like you, only with Disney perks like backgrounds and Mouse-decorated clothing. Right now you are thinking you don’t need one for yourself, but your kids might enjoy making one. Well, we’ll see…

The instructions are so simple. Create your “Disney Self,” and then share it on social media. I skipped that second part, but you have the option.

Kids will have absolutely no problem navigating the page.

First thing you do is start altering the character on the screen to look more like you.

You’ll change skin color, eye shape and color, and lip shape and color.

Change the shape of your nose (these are especially comical) and then hair shape and color.

It’s more fun now because you get multiple options when you choose accessories for your head.

Like dressing a doll, it’s time to choose an outfit. Now the site even has outfits from some of their most popular Disney movies.

And lastly, you can change the shoes.

There are all sorts of fun backgrounds.

And in case you didn’t notice, there are ton of clothes and hair styles for guys as well.

Trust me men, your significant other will get a kick out of you in character form.

Now all cartooning aside, what are you going to do with these images once you’ve created them?

Create a new profile photo for yourself.

For these, you’ll need some type of computer of photo program that creates text. Tons of these are available for free.

Create notes to send to friends and family about your upcoming travel plans to build excitement.

Create your own count down calendar to send to family and friends.

Create post cards you can print off and mail to friends and family from vacation.

Create notes you or the kids could mail to friends and family just to be social and make someone’s day with a happy surprise.

Fun for kids on a rainy afternoon, a hot summer morning, a weekend with no plans, or just any day they have some free time.

There you go adults, a bunch of reasons to Disney not only your children but Yourself.

The whole family snuck in their lunch; you can’t make that kinda stuff up. 40 years worth of trips to Orlando later, she is still trying to save money on vacations.

Amanda is a Disney Vacation Club Member and Annual Pass holder. Her amazing husband, band director Carl Major, plus three teen children and two dogs keep her busy.
