Sunset Pointe is a restaurant located at the Fly Creek Marina in Fairhope, Alabama. Known for incredible sunsets, this dining establishment offers a family friendly outdoor dining area with a fire pit and views over the Fairhope Yacht Club and Mobile Bay. Inside, you’ll find additional seating, complete with a bar, locally crafted decor, and a very friendly staff. Each night at sunset, join in a toast to good food, friends, and the sunset view.
Let’s talk about the food. Because I am Cheapskate Princess looking for a deal, we tend to order off the small bights menu.
*Crab-Meat-Balls: Jumbo Lump Crab Meat, Remoulade, Lemon Aioli and Creole Mustard Aioli
*South “Mediterranean” Tuna Crudo: Tuna, Cucumbers, Red Onion, Fried, Capers, Fresh Lime Juice & Zest, Olive Oil, Feta, Crostini
*Gulf Fish Wraps: Flour Tortilla, Fried Gulf Fish, Grilled Slaw, Local Tomato, Remoulade, Lemon Aioli,
*Crab Mac’n’Cheese: Blue Crab Meat, Serpentini Pasta, Cream Sauce, Pecorino, Romano, Crunchy Panko Topping
Since I am always the designated driver, I order water or a coke. Alcoholic drinks here will cost you quite a bit, but that’s normal for ordering alcohol in most restaurants.
Of course besides the excellent food, the best reason to head to Sunset Pointe is the sunset.
Desserts are also available, and this one was super yummy, although you don’t get a lot for $10. This is pretty common for desserts in restaurants; if you want quantity, the better idea is to buy a pie from a grocery store.
Sunset Pointe is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 am to 8:30 pm and open Friday to Saturday from 11:00 am – to 9:30 pm. The address for your GPS is 831 N. Section Street, Fairhope, Alabama, and you can call (251) 990-7766 for any questions.
