Disney World Extravagance: Keys to the Kingdom Tour

Updated for 2017!

Sometimes Disney fans need something different to propel a vacation to the next level. There are many Disney World special events you can attend by purchasing tickets that feature food, fun, and entertainment. You can also take tours of parks and resorts that provide backstage knowledge of Disney World and Walt Disney himself. These additional tickets are not necessary for a fun vacation, in fact many are pricey, but they can also create memories that last a lifetime. There’s really nothing cheapskate about purchasing an additional ticket on top of theme park admission, so we call this a Disney World extravagance.

Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom Tour provides a five-hour, in-depth look at the history of Magic Kingdom, along with backstage access to legendary hidden areas, and lunch.

1st Trip to Disney? Avoid These 10 Mistakes!

What Do You Get?

This five-hour walking tour explores the creation and growth of Magic Kingdom, where you’ll explore secret locations and get the inside scoop on some of your favorite attractions.

During your tour, you will:

  • Uncover the hidden secrets of classic attractions at Magic Kingdom park.
  • Access the famed underground “Utilidor” tunnels that allow people and supplies to travel beneath the park unseen.
  • Discover little-known facts, trivia and other exciting tidbits about the park.
  • Enjoy a delicious lunch, which is included with your tour admission ticket.
  • Take home an exclusive keepsake!

Two Highlights

Touring the underground service tunnels below Magic Kingdom, known as the Utilidor, provides access to hidden parts of the Disney property few traditional visitors ever see, since guest-accessible areas of Magic Kingdom park are actually on the second floor of a massive structure.

You’ll also hear the intriguing story of Walt Disney and how his vision, innovation and creativity brought the theme park to life. You’ll gain insight on Walt’s thought process as he was designing the park, learn fun trivia and little-known facts, discover hidden Mickeys and other often-overlooked details, and more.
