Disney World has announced a brand new event for Animal Kingdom including entertainment, food, and fun after the park closes on certain summer nights. Giving you more after-hours park options, the event “Harambe Nights” will offer guests the chance to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Lion King.
What will you do?
The Reception: You will start your evening with a reception, moving inside the Harambe Theater.
The Show: Inside will be a performance of the show The Lion King: Concert in the Wild. This will feature a live orchestra and a celebrity narrator, which sounds similar to Epcot’s Candlelight Processional at Christmas.
The Street Party: Following the performance, guests will attend a “party in the Harambe streets,” include food, local bands, autographs, character appearances, and the opportunity to purchase event merchandise. Your evening will end with a “fond farewell.”
