If you ever cooked dinner at home for months and brought your lunch to work for weeks, in order to pay for some fun on vacation, you just might be a Cheapskate Princess. When you take those savings and spend more for ordinary items on vacation than you do in real life, then we call that a Cheapskate Princess Splurge.
Welcome to Beaches and Cream Soda Shop, where you will pay more for ice cream than simply buying your own gallon at Walgreens, but what you are splurging on is the ice cream experience.
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is a fabulous spot for good times and great food at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. With an old-fashioned soda fountain, you can also order also American grill favorites like a burger and fries. This is casual dining with a beach atmosphere, located right behind the fabled Stormalong Bay Pool at the resort.
Some dining plans are accepted, but even though this is essentially a table service restaurant, reservations are not accepted. And from our experience and reports from other Cheapskate Princess fans, Beaches & Cream can fill up fast during certain times of the day and especially holidays.
Rather than concentrating on the lunch and grill items, let’s just concentrate on what Beaches & Cream is famous for…ice cream goodness!
