“Where’s Mickey?” is the latest Vera Bradley color coming to the World of Disney Store at Downtown Disney today, Tuesday, October 29that the World of Disney Store. The “Where’s Mickey?” color will also be carried via the Disney Parks online store and at select Disneyland Resort locations in the coming months.
The Disney Collection by Vera Bradley was created especially for Disney Theme Park Merchandise. So the only places to find this collection is either at Disney Parks or on the Disney Parks online store. These odors, and any future colors, won’t be offered at locations owned and operated by Vera Bradley or on the Vera Bradley online store.
The “Where’s Mickey?” pattern will be featured on several familiar and popular styles such as the hipster, backpack, large duffel, Smartphone wristlet and more.
In addition to a future release at the World of Disney Store in Florida, the “Where’s Mickey?” color will also be available on Disney Parks online store and at select Disneyland Resort locations in the coming months. You can see the Disneyblog article using this link.
The Disney Parks Blog announced back in March that brand new Disney-inspired handbags and accessories by designer Vera Bradley would start appearing in the Disney parks in fall of 2013. This got many a Disney Visa card holder tingling with excitement! The Disney Theme Park Merchandise department worked closely with Vera Bradley developing these two patterns.
So those of you who love the Dooney & Bourke handbags, so popular with Disney Princesses everywhere, will now have a difficult choice to make. Dooney or Bradley?
Welcome to Disney, Vera Bradley!
Steven Miller, Merchandise Communications Manager and Disney Parks blogger, spoke with says Cathy Dawson, Merchandiser for Accessories at the Disney Parks, back in March of ’13. “We are thrilled to introduce Vera Bradley to our accessories assortment. In recent years, we’ve seen several guests in our parks and resorts sporting fun, colorful bags by Vera Bradley. Even our Disney Cruise Line team recently added some items by Vera Bradley to the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. We thought it would be wonderful to add a splash of Disney to these popular and colorful accessory items.”
Can You Afford the Handbags?
Isn’t that always the million dollar Mickey Mouse question, can I afford it? With Disney Dooney & Bourke handbags starting in the $75 range and headed up into the $400s, it doesn’t take a cheapskate to figure out they won’t be cheap.
What do you think?
Will you be clearing out your closet for the new Vera Bradley collection?
Or will you still be holding out on a Dooney sale? Lunch at Wilderness Lodge or a new handbag…decisions, decisions…
