Martinique on the Gulf is a beach community on the Fort Morgan peninsula on the western side of Gulf Shores, Alabama. This resort offers private beach vacation rental homes and affordable luxury condos.
Use this link to see their vacation rental accommodations, or call one of their specialists at (888) 661-5286.
Toward the beach, The Club du Plage terrace offers views of the Gulf of Mexico. Here you’ll enjoy a spacious sun deck, large swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool spa, fitness center, dressing area, and covered veranda. To get to the private beach, just walk down the private boardwalk.
Located at the entrance of the community, the tennis court is a popular recreational activity.
For Spring Break week 2015, we chose the Martinique beach house Blue Lagoon.
While the house looked small from the street view, the three bedroom- two bath was actually quite spacious inside.

If the beach isn’t your thing or you just enjoy a nice walk, Martinique is a great place just to walk. We stay here because many homes are dog-friendly, and our dogs love walking here as much as we do.
Sidewalks keep you off the main streets.
You are surrounded by nature preserves, so you may not even feel like you’re at the beach, even if you are.
To get the beach from our location so near the exit to the property, we had use of bikes and an electric golf cart.
You can stop and rest a bit on benches found along the roadside.
I know many people plan vacations to escape their hectic work schedule or just the reality of every day life. One of my favorite Martinique features are the screened in porches, many of which face the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. I spent a multitude of afternoons here, out of the sun and engrossed in a good book.
So when you’re looking for a place to stay during Spring Break, head down Fort Morgan road to Martinique. Condos or houses, there are a ton of excellent options for every budget.
